The best way to make PoE2 currency right now is a combination of gold exchange trading and selling gold services. A lot of players need gold, but almost nobody is supplying it. Crafters especially need massive amounts of gold, and they are willing to pay premium prices. This creates one of the easiest profit opportunities we’ve had all league.
I charge one Divine for every 500k to 2 million gold, depending on the map. I started offering gold runs this morning and made around twenty-five Divines in just about an hour because the demand is so high and the competition is almost non-existent.
At the moment, I’m sitting on several million gold, which I will be putting into the currency exchange to convert into even more Divines. It’s completely realistic to reach fifty to one hundred Divines per hour if you combine gold services with smart exchange trading. I won’t give specific exchange flips because the best ones change often, but Sinister Crystallization Orbs are still strong. You can buy them at around 240 Exalts, sell four for one Divine, and take advantage of the current Divine-to-Exalt ratio, which is around 1.7k or 1.8k Exalts.
Gold exchange is extremely consistent, and most trades end with at least one Divine of profit for every 200k gold spent. There are better flips out there, too — this is just one example.
If you want to host gold runs yourself, you’ll need the right setup. First, use three tablets that each give 30% increased gold found in your map. They cost only one to three Chaos each and are easy to buy. Next, your maps should always have Abysses with additional pits, areas overrun by the Abyssal, and as many rare monsters as possible, since rare monsters drop the most gold. Pack size and magic monsters help, but they are secondary.
With this setup, each map consistently drops 600k to over one million gold. If your effects double, you can get several million in a single run. Mountain biome maps are the best choice because they add a flat 40% gold bonus. Even non-optimal maps still give at least 400k to 500k gold.
For gear, look for gloves with two to three sockets and an increased quantity of gold dropped. On your belt, use a Darkness Enthroned with around 100% increased effect of socketed items. Going much higher isn’t worth it because the extra benefits are small while the price skyrockets.
Your atlas should focus on pack size, rare monster modifiers, and anything that increases gold or Abyss effects. “Local Knowledge” is one of the most important notable passives to take. I’m still missing two points because I finished the campaign yesterday and immediately started using this strategy to rebuild currency after spending 800–900 Divines on my gear.
There’s also a second method to make gold if you don’t want to run maps. It’s slower and more repetitive, but still works well. You’ll need Orbs of Alchemy, Broken Sickle Artifacts, and Exotic Coinage. Once you have them, go to Gwennneth, buy all her items, use Orbs of Alchemy on everything, and sell them back to her. Repeat endlessly. You can speed this up with cheap Omens like Omen of Betrayal. This method can generate several million gold while sitting in your hideout, which you can then exchange for Divines.

Crafting sales are slow — you have to wait days for big crafts to sell — but gold sells instantly and everyone wants it.
